Aims | To increase awareness of Primary Care aspects of Children's Dentistry |
Objectives | - To increase awareness of the treatment of trauma often seen in Primary Care
- To develop an understanding of when and how to treat deciduous teeth in primary care
- Review of commonlyused restoratibe materials used in Paedodontics
- To appreciate orthodontic implications in primary care paedodontics
Learning Outcomes: - FD's will be able to confidently treat commonly encountered trauma cases
- FD's will be able to cmpare the different restorative materials for use in paediatric dentistry
- FD's will be able to develop treatment plans in Primary Care Dentistry which take into account the unique nature of that setting
- FD's will understand the orthodontic implications of primary care in childrens dentistry
