This course aims to provide a clear and basic understanding of the Index of Orthodontic Treatment needs for GDPs. Looking at local referral guidance, assessment, advice & treatment, this session has been created with those in the Lancashire area in mind. The speaker, Joanna Dancer, is currently Consultant in Orthodontics at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, and at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Joanna has chaired the Orthodontic Managed Clinical Networks for Lancashire and South Cumbria since 2013, and is the Orthodontic MCN lead nationally for the British Orthodontic Society’s Clinical Practice Directorate.
