Mandatory: Dentist, or Practice Manager

To promote skill mix within the dental team by exploring the benefits of employing a Dental Therapist.

• Provide the opportunity for GDPs and PMs to learn more about the benefits of having a Dental Therapist as part of the team.
• Hear testimony from a GDP who work with Dental Therapists and have the opportunity to ask them questions.
• Learn more about HEE NW Dental Foundation Therapist Programme and how practices can become involved.

Following the session participants will:

• Have increased knowledge of the role of the Dental Therapist
• Understand how a Dental Therapist works within the practice team
• Have increased awareness of the benefits of becoming a Training Practice for a Foundation Dental Therapist.
