Aims

We will look at the role of Periodental Surgery in the management of Periodontitis and how it can enhance Restorative Dentistry and the look at Peri-Implantitis, what we know and where we are heading.

Objectives

To expose delegates to all aspects of Periodental Surgery and the discuss where we are currently at in Peri-implant monitoring, maintenance, diagnosis of problems and management. 

Learning outcomes

The delegates should understand:

  • The indications and applications of Periodental Surgery for the management of Periodental disease. 
  • How to incorporate Periodental Surgery into Restorative treatment plans to aid function or aesthetics.
  • How to monitor and maintain dental implants.
  • How to diagnose Peri-implant disease and understand treatment options.
