Aims | Morning session - To increase awareness of Primary Care aspects of Childrens' Dentistry. | ||
Objectives | To increase awareness of the treatment of trauma often seen in primary care. To develop an understanding of when and how to treat deciduous teeth in primary care. Review of commonly used restorative materials used in paedodontics. To appreciate orthodontic implications in primary care paedodontics.
Learning Outcomes FDs will be able to confidently treat commonly encountered trauma cases. FDs will be able to compare the different restorative materials for use in paediatric dentistry. FDs will be able to develop treatment plans in Primary Care dentistry which take into account the unique nature of that setting. FDs will understand the orthodontic implications of primary care in childrens dentistry. | ||
