Aims

Members of BSPD Merseyside to present a short summary recent work/projects undertaken related to paediatric dentistry

Objectives
  • Discuss the novel curriculum recently introduced at Liverpool Dental School
  • Report the results of a service evaluation of paediatric A&E attendances
  • Discuss the management of paediatric dental trauma
Learning outcomes

Following the session members will have:

  • Knowledge of the new undergraduate curriculum
  • Improved understanding of research being undertaken to assess barriers of dental trauma management
  • Increased awareness of number and type of dental presentations to the local children's emergency department
