To provide an overview of how Health Education England can support with recruitment of dentists/DCPs to your practice

Objectives

Following attendance at the webinar, delegates will be able to:

  • Describe the PVLE and Dental Foundation programmes
  • Dispel some of the myths associated with DFT/PLVE/DFTh
  • Identify how a Foundation Therapist could support delivering of your NHS contract
  • Review the dental nurse training apprenticeship programme offered by HEENW
  • Identify the requirements to prepare your practice for placement of a Foundation Dentist/PLVE dentist/Therapist
  • List ways HEENW can support you in your role as a supervisor
  • Recognise activities that could be undertaken to prepare them to fulfil the role of educational supervisor effectively
  • Consider the benefits of arranging an informal one-to-one practice visit
