Aims

To provide appropriate information to facilitate early diagnosis of oral cancer and the Dental teams' role throughout the patient's journey from referral to rehabilitation.

Objectives
  • Identify oral pre-malignant conditions
  • State the refereal procedures and what happens next
  • Provide an insight into rehabilitation strategies for all head and neck patients including those who receive chemo/radiotherapy
  • Discuss the GDP/Dental Team's role before, during and post-treatment of oral cancer
