To raise the profile and importance of the continuation of HLD work in general dental practices so it becomes embedded into the ethos of the dental practice.

• Discuss the updated HLD programme and levels of achievement required.
• Share good examples of good practice and good news stories with other champions
• Discuss campaign information and new public health guidance and literature
• Continue to engage with their team to deliver the latest evidence based healthy lifestyle advice and implement HLD in their practice.
• Update their Healthy Living Dentistry action plan if it hasn’t been done for a while and ensure a new plan is sent in as evidence to show their commitment to continued delivery of the programme at either level.
• Continue to work towards level 2 if not already done so.

Delegates will be proficient in delivering and promoting the healthy living messages to patients and the team within the dental practice.

Champion will continue to co-ordinate the Healthy Living activities within the practice
