  • To inform the participants of why and how dental instruments have evolved the way they have, and to provide a hands on workshop in sharpening to assist them in their daily working life.
Objectives
  • To enable the participants to feel confident when choosing their instruments.
  • To provide the participants with the knowledge of how to maintain and sharpen their instruments for a longer working life.
Learning outcomes
  • The participants will feel more confident in choosing the correct instrument for each appropriate situation, and will be able to maintain the working life of that instrument, as well as looking after their own wellbeing due to the use of sharper instruments.
