  • To increase delegates awareness of their individual personality types & its effect in the workplace.

  • To increase delegates awareness and understanding of Conflict Resolution techniques

  • an overview of the health impact of e-cigarette use

  • Define the term mental capacity
  • Identify the five core principles of the Act
  • Explain how mental capacity is assessed
  • The 3 D’s – Dementia, Depression and Delirium

Personality Typing, Assertiveness and Conflict Resolution

  • To establish delegates individual personality type using Keirsey Temperament Sorter.
  • Demonstrate differences between the 4 main types.
  • Show how your innate type affects communication with both patients & their colleagues.
  • To explain the value of assertiveness & help delegates develop their interpersonal skills & appropriate boundaries.
  • To develop skills for dealing with Conflict Resolution

  • Who uses e-cigarettes and why
  • Their efficacy and effectiveness for smoking cessation and reduction
  • How harmful they are to health comped with tobacco cigarettes
  • Minimizing risk from e-cigarettes

Assessing Mental Capacity and 3Ds; Dementia, Depression and Delirium

  • This session will improve delegate's understanding of different types of cognitive impairment and give an overview of the protocols regarding consent to treatment.
