Description | Dental procedures such as extractions can sometimes go wrong learn how to manage complications by gaining the skills and confidence to deal with these situations. This course offers a highly interactive learning experience that combines lecture, hands on training with pig’s jaws along with a further half day session where you will have the opportunity to observe an experienced Tier 2 oral surgeon within the primary care setting. |

Aims | This course has been designed for the Dental Practitioner who wishes to develop their clinical competencies in providing regular minor oral surgery (MOS) within the dental practice. Delegates will be able to perform MOS within a simulated setting together with developing their skills and confidence by learning new techniques and by observation in a real patient setting. |
Objectives | Identify, diagnose and assess patient suitability for MOS within practice.
