Aims

To understand the value of, and be able to take, appropriate, good quality photographs

Objectives
  • Demonstrate the uses of clinical photography; how it can benefit the patient amd the clinician. Provide the opportunity to take clinical photographs in a clinical setting, enabling delegates to acquire basic clinical photography skills.

Learning Outcomes

  • Be aware of the need for consent; be more aware of the role of clinical photography in modern dentistry. Appreciate the equipment that is appropriate for taking photographs. Everyone should have the opportunity to practice taking clinical photographs and appraise their efforts.
