| Aims | To help Foundation Dentists provide better Oral Surgery care for their patients, by improving their Oral Surgery skills in the following areas: - Assessment of surgical dentistry patients in general practice
- Undertaking simple surgical procedures, fractured teeth and retained roots, effectively and safely
- Being aware of, and where appropiate, being able to undertake simple third molar removal, apicectomies on anterior teeth, biopsy of small, non-suspicious lesions and primary closure of an ora-antral communication
- Being aware of personal limitations in provision of Oral Surgery
