• To provide an overview of the Foundation Dentist’s current responsibilities to colleagues and patients

• To provide an overview of avoiding & dealing with: complaints, claims for compensation and the General Dental Council’s Fitness to Practise Process & how they work

• To explore the common dentolegal queries faced by young dentists
