  • To provide insight into the effective management of trauma within the general practice setting
  • Morning- To separate the FDs into groups to discuss trauma cases and present a case and its management
  • Afternoon- to discuss paediatric dentistry in the general dental setting
Objectives
  • Awareness of appropriate history record; clinical examination in trauma; diagnosis; initial management; appropriate follow up
  • To Highlight the different types of dental trauma that can occur and present in a general dental practice and how to manage cases short term and long term.
  • How to treat and manage paediatric patients in a general dental setting
