This Hands on Endodontic course promises an update in contemporary Endodontic practice. Looking at shaping techniques and the various methods of obturation available, you will have the chance to hone your skills. Dave Baker has been a GDP for 18 years, with an interest in Endodontics. In 2013 completed MSc in Endodontics with Merit and now is a tutor at simplyendo.

Catering

A selection of vegetarian/non vegetarian options will be made available, however please be aware that we are unable to cater for special dietary requirements such as Gluten Free, Nut Allergy, Vegan. We therefore suggest that delegates bring their own food if you have a specialist requirement.

Aims

To give the opportunity to try hands on canal shaping using reciprocation with WaveOne Gold compared to an alternative rotary system.

To give the participants the opportunity to try a warm obturation method.

Objectives
  • Increase awareness of the importance of good endodontic access
  • Be familiar with different canal shaping techniques
  • To appreciate the importance of a glide path
  • Understand the use of reciprocation in canal shaping
  • Appreciate a recommended irrigation protocol
  • Be familiar with various obturation techniques
