The course fee is £40.00. However, if the workplace in which you are employed, treats predominately NHS patients and is located within the boundaries of Health Education England North West (HEENW) a subsidised course fee of £30.00 will be applicable. This fee includes lectures and refreshments will also be provided.

Places on this course are limited to 40 and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. The course closing date is 10th November 2017.

Cancellation policy: A refund, less £10 administration fee, is guaranteed for cancellations received up to three weeks before the start of the course (10th November at 5pm). Aims
  • This course is aimed at GDPs to improve their knowledge of, and ability to deliver more effective periodontal care in their practice.
Learning outcomes

By the end of the event, delegates will be able to:

  • Describe current concepts in non-surgical periodontal therapy
  • Explain the importance of maintenance care in the periodontal patient
  • Identify what treatment protocols a GDP or hygienist should follow when treating a patient with periodontitis
  • Explain the long term maintenance and appropriate review regime required for a patient with periodontal disease.
