  • Revise NHS rules and regulations around Perio
  • Review Perio diagnosis and misdiagnosis
  • Review treatment strategies for perio treatment including adjuncts
  • Look at implant monitoring and maintenance
Objectives
  • Ensure that the group are confident to treat Perio on the NHS, understand their obligations, know when to refer and how to use adjuncts at the appropriate time.
Learning outcomes
  • After this day the FDs should feel confident to discuss a whole range of periodontal issues, know their obligations, know when to refer and how to monitor dental implants.
