Objectives | Radiography:top tips for compliance: The objective of the session is to offer delegates the opportunity to refresh their knowledge on the essential legal requirements of compliance with IRR 99 and IR(ME)R, with due regard to the contents of their Radiation Protection file and to Quality Assurance in Dental Radiography
Medical Emergency: Candidates will be able to reflect on their own level of competence and confidence and understand the use of emergency equipment | ||
Learning outcomes | radiography; top tips for compliance: By the end of the session, delegates will: 1. Be able to state the key principles of radiation protection 2. Summarise the biological effects of ionising radiation with due regard to dental radiography 3. Understand the legal requirements of compliance with regard to IRR 99 and IR(ME)R 2000 (with specific foci on the Radiation Protection file and Quality Assurance in dental radiography)
