To provide a forum enabling the evidence base of specific topics to be debated. To support the development of team working and leadership skills with your peers.

Objectives
  • Should Prosthodontics be a postgraduate subject: understand the principles and current issues in removable prosthodontics aligning with best clinical guidelines and a structured protocol.
  • Providing effective Oral Health/PeriodontalCare to inform best patient care: understand how current knowledge in Periodontology can be applied to everyday dental practice including recording of data, re-evaluation in treatment planning and identify the scope of contemporary periodontal therapy.
  • Professionalism: understand the ethical guidance applicable to dental professionals as underpinned by the GDC dental standards both personally and professionally.
  • Teambuilding and Leadership: demonstrate good verbal and non verbal communication skills, a professional attitude towards your peers and effective teamworking.
