This course will provide 5 hours of eCPD. Due to current COVID guidelines the theory section of this course will now be taught online via a 2 hour webinar - Wednesday 3rd November 2021- 6pm - 8pm. Failure to attend the webinar will result in you not being able to attend the 3 hour hands on clinical skills section of the course.

Aims

This programme discusses the diagnosis and management of endodontic disease in dental practice

Objectives
  • Understand different concepts of canal shaping
  • Clarify of the importance of consistent canal shaping
  • Define how to decide which canal shaping technique is appropriate for individual cases
  • Explain how to make obturation easy
  • Recognise the indications for the use of different obturation techniques
  • Express an awareness of obturation materials including contemporary sealers

Following this session delegates will have a greater understanding of:

  • different concepts of canal shaping in modern endodontology
  • how successful treatment is related to predictable consistent canal shaping combined with efficient canal disinfection with irrigants.
