Description | Keep it Clean
Additional information | Infection prevention and control in dentistry has moved on dramatically during the past thirty years. The emergence of new pathogens has led to changes in both clinical practice and decontamination of instruments and the clinic environment. What are the risks to patients and teams in practice? What do your patients think about how clean your practice or clinic is? Are they concerned about catching something when they visit you? The regulatory requirements for protecting patients and teams are wide ranging and constantly changing. Keeping up to date is a full time task for clinicians. Today’s course aims to review the evidence associated with infection prevention, discuss real situations that have arisen in practices and provide solutions for clinicians to comply with current regulations and guidelines.
