Aims

To outline the UDA system.

To give a basic overview of some real treatment cases with discussion of treatment planning options in the NHS.

To provide a guide to local referral routes, which patients and to whom?

Objectives

To have a better working knowledge of NHS dentistry and potential cases seen in practice.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the session the FDs should be able to discuss different potential treatment options and how they would relate to the UDA system.

The FDs should have a basic knowledge of which patients may require referral and where to refer to within local routes.
