This introductory session will help to define a range of knowledge and Skills for Lead Dental Nurses

· Define a range of lead roles in dental teams

· Explain the leadership role for Lead dental Nurses

· Identify management approaches for supervisory management

· Explain the importance of good communication for Lead dental Nurses

Objectives

Following the presentation participants will be able to:

· Recognise the role and duties of Lead nurses

· Understand what employers need for the Lead nurse role

· Recognise effective ways to enable dental nurses to work to their best ability
