The course fee for this event is £200.00 per person which includes practical sessions in the Phantom Head Suite, a sandwich lunch and refreshments. A reduced fee of £100.00 is applicable to participants who treat predominantly NHS patients. Please select the appropriate delegate rate during the online booking process.

Places on this course are limited to 15 and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Registration starts at 9:00am.

Cancellation policy: A refund, less £50 administration fee, is guaranteed for cancellations received up to four weeks before the start of the course (16th June 2017). No refund will be made for cancellations received after this date or for failure to attend.

The course closing date is 16th June 2017. If you gain a place but cancel after this closing date no refund will be given, but you can nominate another registered GDP to attend.

Aims
  • To develop a logical and predictable approach to endodontics, using modern endodontic techniques
  • The course will help participants develop a better understanding of modern endodontic techniques, by having an improved knowledge and hands on experience in the practical sessions
Learning outcomes

By the end of the event delegates will be able to:

  • Describe the current concepts of modern endodontic practices.
  • Use magnification to aid in visualisation of root canal treatment
  • Prepare access cavities, being mindful of conservation of tooth tissue and straight line access
  • Describe the normal anatomical location of canals
  • Discuss techniques which will aid safe and predictable negotiation of root canal space
  • Undertake simple chemo-mechanical rotary preparation techniques
  • Undertake obturation techniques that complement the preparation
