Aims

to introduce contemporary endodontic techniques ( inlcuding access, instrumentation and irrigation ) and understanding biology of endodontic disease and the importance of basic biological principles in its treatment

Objectives

to become :

  • fully aware of the technique of balanced force filing its use in developing a "glide path" in curved canal preparation , and its importance with rotary instrumentation .
  • familiar with current root canal irrigants and irrigation techniques, familiar with techniques available for accurate and predictable determination of working lenghts.
  • be able to try out a few contemporary endodontic file systems ( hands on), able to evaluate cases and decide on appropriate treatment regimes and when to refer
