  • Revise NHS rules and reg around Perio
  • Review Perio diagnosis and misdiagnosis
  • Review treatment strategies for perio treatment including adjuncts
  • Look at implant monitoring and maintenance
Objectives

Ensure that the group are confident to treat Perio on the NHS, understand their obligations, know when to refer and how to use adjuncts at the appropriate time.

Learning outcomes

After this day the DF1's should feel confident to discuss a whole range of periodontal issues, know their obligations, know when to refer and how to monitor dental implants.
