Using a mixture of lecture based scenarios, small group working, and individual exercises delegates will improve their understanding of the principles of successful removable denture construction.

Aims

To demonstrate the importance of patient assessment.

How to record accurately the inter-arch relationship.

To demonstrate the areas where most common faults occur when making complete dentures.

Objectives

Delegates are shown how to develop a method of recognizing areas where they may encounter problems and how to solve them.

Learning outcomes

Manage complete denture patients and their expectations.

Develop and understand how to assess a patient and design a denture to enable completion of predictable successful dentures.

 

During the course delegates are required to complete written tasks and hands on exercises to demonstrate and understanding and recognition of the methods demonstrated.
