The Healthy Living Champion must:

1. Attend the four study sessions (all sessions 9.30am - 11.30am):

    Wednesday 9th June

    Thursday 17th June

    Wednesday 23rd June

2. Complete the e-learning "Understanding Health Improvement" and undertake the final assessment.

* CHAMPIONS if you fail to attend the 1st Champion session you will be charged a cancellation fee of £30, if you fail to take the exam after enrollment you will be charged an additional £50

To provide the dental champion with the necessary skills, knowledge and competence to engage the dental team in delivering the Healthy Living Dentistry Agenda.

Objectives

 

Healthy Living Champion

  • Recognise their role and responsibilities as a Healthy Living Dental Champion.
  • Understand Healthy Living Dentistry.
  • Define the role of the lead, what a champion is and what it is not.
Learning outcomes

 Healthy Living Champion

  • Delegates will be proficient in delivering and promoting the healthy living messages to patients and the team within the dental practice. 
  • Champion will co-ordinate the Healthy Living activities within the practice
