To improve awareness of infection prevention and reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19 in the primary dental care setting.

Objectives

Explain how infections can spread (chain of infection)
Describe infection prevention and control measures that should be in place in primary dental care
Recognise different types of PPE and when these are used
Demonstrate correct use and disposal of PPE including how to don and doff
