Dementia is becoming increasingly prevalent, due to our ageing population and improved recognition of the condition. However, the nature of dementia means that managing the condition can pose unique and sometimes difficult issues, in Primary Dental Care. Following the launch of the 'dementia friendly dentistry' toolkit in May 2016, this second set of peer review sessions includes an update on ongoing work with primary dental care and local dementia services, provides an opportunity to review patient case studies and 'problem solve' some of the challenges involved. | ||
