SubjectRestorative Dentistry
DescriptionThis course aims to provide those working within the Salaried Dental Services with an update in managing the ageing patient.
Additional information

Today, patients are keeping their own teeth for many more years than in the past. The challenge of managing the ageing dentition begins as soon as the teeth erupt - making sure that dental treatment for the young doesn't cause unnecessary problems later on. Yet the reality of the situation is that despite the success of restorative dentistry some patients will become partially dentate or edentulous. This course brings together two experts who will consider how to maximise the lifetime of individual teeth whilst bearing in mind the possibility that they will not survive for life & plotting a successful journey into later years.
