Aims

Look at the range of surgical periodontal techniques used in periodontics for disease management and pre prosthetic treatments.

Revise peri-implant anatomy, monitoring and maintenance and look at peri-implant disease diagnosis and treatment.

Objectives

We will look at the indications and techniques for surgical disease management.

We will look at how periodontal surgical techniques can be used to enhance prosthetic treatments.

We will revise peri-implant anatomy and look at protocols for monitoring and supporting implants.

We will look at peri-implant disease diagnosis and potential treatment options.

Learning outcomes

Update knowledge of specialist periodontal techniques and peri-implant management.
