To enable dental professionals to recognise and meet their responsibilities to maintain and protect patients information GDC Principle 4

Objectives
  • Define reasons that data security measures are required
  • Review the importance of up to date practice policies and procedures for Information Governance
  • State the correct measures to take if there is reason to suspect a data breach
