Additional information

General Dental Practitioner;

I studied Oral Surgery at Newcastle upon Tyne, before moving to the United States where I worked in my husband’s motorcycle business for ten years. I then taught Behavioural Sciences at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

Since returning to England in 1993 I have worked in General Dental Practice, while maintaining my interest in Oral Surgery, teaching undergraduates at Manchester Dental Hospital, DCT1s in Practice, and providing a Tier 2 MOS Service.

I have been a VT Trainer/Educational Supervisor on 9 occasions, and have been actively involved with the teaching of Communication Skills to FDs. I was TPD in the North West Deanery from 2011 – 2014, and am currently an Appraiser for HEENW and Chair of the Clinical Advisory Group for the dental charity Bridge2Aid.
