To give an overview of what special care dentistry is, what can be done in practice, and when to refer.

Objectives

To increase knowledge and awareness of special care dentistry, be able to apply some simple methods in practice and refer where appropriate.

By the end of the session delegates will have a better understanding of special care dentistry and what they can do in practice and in collaborative working with the community dental service.
