Aims | - Understand what an implant is and what they can do
- Understand how and why impants work
- Understand the pros and cons of treatment options
- Learn the names of the other paraphernalia
- Approach to assessment and treatment planning
- Learn how to restore implants and make money

- Talk through the Astra system and its design
- Look at some standard case histories and photos
- Look at how to assess patients clinically
- Look at the SAC classification
- See a breakdown of the costs involved
- Get some hands on with the kit

Learning outcomes | By the end of the session you will: - have increased knowledge of the financial, surgical and restorative elements of dental implants
