  • Understand the legal and historical context of safeguarding children and young people
  • Understand why and how to share information in relation to safeguarding children and young people

ADULTS

  • Understand the legal and historical contact of safeguarding adults at risk - Care Act 2014
  • Increase awareness of the categories of abuse and signs and symptoms of adult abuse

  • Have a knowledge of the categories and their definitions, signs and symptoms of child abuse
  • Develop an awareness of solutions and barriers to safeguarding children within health

ADULTS

  • Understand how to respond to allegations of abuse
  • Understand how to refer and report concerns or allegations of adult abuse
  • To increase knowldege and skills on information sharing ad multi agency working
