To look at all aspects of diagnosis and management of Head and Neck Cancers (HANCs) relevant to Primary Care Dentistry.

Objectives
  • Give an overview of trends in HANC
  • Understand signs and symptoms of HANCs
  • Consider how the treatment impacts dental care

  • Examine patients for common signs and symptoms
  • Identify the referral process and patient journey
  • Recognise when to do dental treatment and when not to
