• Aims: To allow the Foundation Dental Therapists to refresh their restorative skills on phantom heads, while being supported by an ES/TPD.

Learning outcomes

· Learning Outcomes:

o refreshed knowledge of the principles of cavity prep for composite and amalgam

o improved confidence in cavity prep skills for restoration with appropriate dental materials

o greater skill and confidence in the placement, carving, contouring and polishing of restorations

o greater skill and confidence in the placement of rubber dam
