She is co-author of the best selling text, Coaching and Mentoring at Work (Open University Press 2017), now in its third edition. She has designed and delivered Mentoring Development Programmes across the UK for Trusts, Deaneries and Royal Colleges, for dentists, doctors, managers and health professionals. She has worked as a coach and mentor using Egan’s The Skilled Helper framework, and she uses the framework and mentoring skills in everyday life. |

Lecturer profile | June is based in Sheffield and currently works as a regional GP Appraiser and LMC GP Mentor. She is a tutor on The Mentoring Development Programme, which delivers mentoring training to healthcare professionals across the UK. Having worked as a doctor in Primary and Secondary Care in the UK and abroad, she understands the importance of developing mentoring skills in the healthcare workforce. She has enjoyed working with the Sheffield Dental Mentoring Programme since 2009 and is currently also training dentists and dental staff in Thames Valley and Wessex Dental Directorate. |
