Lecturer profile | Claire graduated from Cardiff University in 2013 and has worked in South Wales and the South West before embarking on specialist training in Oral Surgery in the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital, Sheffield. She has a passion for education and has been involved in undergraduate and regional postgraduate teaching on a wide range of Oral Surgery topics. As part of her leadership fellowship, Claire has been involved in projects to improve the wellbeing and education of clinicians through communication, including research into the use of peer review in primary dental care. |

Lecturer profile | Deputy Chief Dental Officer England. Jason qualified from Birmingham Dental School in 1995. He joined the Maltings Dental practice soon after and became a partner at the practice in 1998. Jason was awarded a Diploma in Postgraduate Dental Studies by Bristol Dental School in 2011 and a Certificate in Clinical Education with merit in 2012. Jason has served as Dental local professional network chair for Leicestershire Lincolnshire since 2013 and was appointed as Chair of Hertfordshire and South Midlands Dental Network in 2016. Jason is also active in other areas of Dentistry and is the Secretary of the Lincolnshire Local Dental Committee and Vice chair of the Oral health promotion partnership board in Leicester city.
Jason carries out treatment in all areas of General Dentistry and has interests in Dental Implantology, treatment of nervous patients and Ora Health promotion. Jason is involved in Postgraduate Dental Education including training of graduate foundation Dentists, Dental care professionals and Dentists for whom he lectures frequently. Jason has lectured nationally on Oral surgery, Minimal invasive Dentistry, Implant Dentistry and treatment of anxious patients.
