Aims

This one day course will strengthen Therapist skills in the principles of evidence based prevention and minimal intervention techniques.

Objectives
  • Refresh knowledge in the principles of minimal intervention.
  • Update knowledge on the prevention of caries by utilising a caries risk assessment model.
  • Complete practical activities on MOOGS/ 3D TEETH and models for removing caries.
  • Update on dental materials for sealing and bonding techniques to ensure longevity of restorations

By the end of the session course delegates will be able to:

  • Confidently apply knowledge and understanding of minimal intervention techniques of caries management to their patients.
  • Demonstrate skills in preparing teeth using minimal intervention techniques
