DescriptionGain a National Qualification in Risk Assessment Incorporating CPD Core Subject Law & Ethics The main purpose of this course is to help you understand the basic principles of risk assessment. It will give all those who attend the ability to contribute to the risk assessment process. This not only ensures you are complying with legislation but also helps you to protect individuals from harm. The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations requires employers to make suitable and sufficient assessment of risks to the health and safety of employees and all those who may be affected. The South West Deanery has commissioned DenMed Training and Consultancy to provide the CIEH Level 2 Award in Principles of Risk Assessment. A range of group activities will be undertaken throughout the day where individuals will learn from each other and have the opportunity to review their own learning. A multiple-choice knowledge ‘test’ covering the three outcomes is completed at the end of the day. The test is a paper-based format & computer marked by CIEH. Those who achieve the required standard will receive the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health Level 2 Award in Principles of Risk Assessment which is valid for three years.
