Aims | 1. To provide an overview of the range of oral mucosal lesions that may present in general dental practice; 2. To provide an awareness of the clinical presentation of oral potentially malignant lesions and oral cancer; 3. To provide an awareness of the diagnostic approach to oral mucosal lesions in specialist oral medicine practice. | ||||||||
Objectives | 1. By the end of the course the participants will be able to recognise the mucosal lesions that require an onward referral for specialist assessment; 2. By the end of the course the participants will be able to identify and diagnose malignant lesions and oral cancer that may come across in everyday clinical practice. | ||||||||
