Aim: Update practitioners with regard to  modern composite materials for use in general practive

Objectives

To understand the clinical issues surrounding the phase down of dental amalgams

To understands the different uses of anterior and posterior composites

To understand the different posterior composite filling materials available

To apply knowledge gained with hands on experience of anterior and posterior composite restorations and build-ups.

That practitioners will feel better able to use composite restorative materials for patient benefit as Amalgam is phased down from dental use
