| Lecturer profile | Dr Chris McConnell qualified in Cardiff in the late nineties, in his early career he worked in both the UK and Australia in general dental practice and specialist hospital units. Chris now owns his own practice in Cornwall and is a visiting specialist at the Peninsula Dental School in Plymouth. In addition he lectures widely on the use of composites. He is a full member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and has a special interest in the use of sedation in general dentistry.
From his experience, he feels that every general dental practitioner can incorporate achievable and practice enhancing advanced techniques into everyday practice. In this course, Chris has a particular enthusiasm for demonstrating how dentists can implement these techniques easily and affordably for both their patients and themselves. Through his engaging and straight to the point teaching style, he is committed to making sure that attendees get the most out of his sessions and leave with the ability and enthusiasm to use all the course skills straight away on return to practice.
