DescriptionCourse description This course has been altered at present due to Covid 19 A one day course at Leeds university where candidates will perform a laparoscopic nephrectomy on Thiel cadavers with consultant training and supervision. The course is free for Yorkshire and Humber Trainees in Urology. The course fee for trainees outside the Yorkshire and Humber is £500 and this must be paid for innadvance of the course. Pre course

Access to live nephrectomy and Thiel cadaver nephrectomy video.

We are running courses with reduced numbers due to Covid19, 8 trainees and 4 faculty. The anatomy lab corridor is been run under NHS rules. A face mask must be worn as you enter the University site, you will need to provide your own mask.

Please read the dissecting room regulations before attending the course.

2. To perform a laparoscopic nephrectomy on a Thiel cadaver (1 per trainee)

3. Be aware of the importance of consent
