Description This half day course is aimed at offering Theatre practitioners, first assistants and junior Doctors an introduction to robotic surgery. The focus is practical hands on skills - including set up of the Da Vinci system, including safety systems and fault management -docking and undocking instruments up of the Da Vinci system, including safety systems and fault management - Port placement and docking
Additional information

· The course is free for Yorkshire and Humber regional trainees. Priority will be given to regional trainees.

· Please read the dissecting room regulations before attending the course.

· Surgical gowns, over shoes, facemasks and gloves are provided for the lab. If you wish to wear theatre blues please bring your own and return to your theatres.

The course LeadS are Mr Jeremiah Mudonhi  and Mr  Matthew Millott- Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust    

The anatomy lab is on Level 9, Worsley Building, University of Leeds
